Local Headlines on NPR.org
This is a guide for submitting content through CDS for the Local Headlines module on the npr.org homepage and in the NPR App.
Digital Story Eligibility Criteria for NPR Platforms
NPR has added local headlines on the NPR homepage and in the NPR app to better serve communities and grow audiences together with Member stations. These headlines and their related images link users from NPR platforms to station websites, growing reach and engagement for the NPR Network.
In order for local headlines to appear on NPR platforms, your content must meet the requirements below. Check this Studio help article for those requirements and for details about what you should send to NPR platforms in order for your local headlines to appear.
